Creating, Printing, & Sharing Quotes (Price & Availability)
How to create, print, and share service quotes within the Back Counter, providing customers with itemized pricing.
Below are instructions on utilizing the Price & Availability section in the Parts Back Counter to provide a comprehensive view of itemized quotes and charges on the Repair Order.
Navigate to: Parts > Counter > Back Counter
Inside the Primary Grid:
- Filter/Sort the Primary Grid to locate the Repair Order.
- Select the Repair Order by clicking on the corresponding line.
- After selecting the repair order, you are directed to the Back Counter screen.
Note: When creating your quote in the Price & Availability section, you have the option to share and print the quote. The share option auto-shares the quote with the Service Advisor. The print option prints a customer-friendly itemized breakdown of the parts availability and parts pricing. |
Within the Back Counter screen:
- Scroll to the Price & Availability grid (shown above).
- In the Price & Availability grid, click the Op field and select an Operation.
- In the Price & Availability grid, input the part number(s).
- Clicking the share icon
on the bottom right shares the quote with the Service Advisor.
- Clicking the print icon
prints the quote.
Note: When printing a quote from the back counter, the Technician's name(s) and Vehicle Mileage are included in the header. This enables users to provide both customers and the Fixed Ops department with a comprehensive view of the charges on the quote. |
