Creating, Printing, & Sharing Quotes (Price & Availability)

Create, print, and share service quotes within the Back Counter.

Introduction

Effectively utilize the Price & Availability section within the Parts Back Counter. This section is crucial for providing a thorough and comprehensive view of itemized quotes and charges. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that all necessary information is accurately captured and communicated, allowing for a seamless and transparent process when creating, printing, and sharing quotes. 

This feature is beneficial for any user involved in quoting parts pricing.

Navigate to:  Parts > Counter > Back Counter

Inside the Primary Grid:

  1. Filter/Sort the Primary Grid to locate the Repair Order

  2. Select the Repair Order by double clicking on the corresponding line.
  3. After selecting the repair order, you are directed to the Back Counter screen.

Note:
When creating your quote in the Price & Availability section, you have the option to share and print the quote.

The share option auto-shares the quote with the Service Advisor. The print option prints a customer-friendly itemized breakdown of the parts availability and parts pricing.

Within the Back Counter screen:

  1. Scroll to the Price & Availability grid 
  2. In the Price & Availability grid, click the Op field and select an Operation.
  3. Input the part number(s)in the Part Number field and click [Tab]
  4. Clicking the [Share] icon on the bottom right shares the quote with the Service Advisor.
  5. Clicking the [Print] icon prints the quote.
Note:
When printing a quote from the back counter, the Technician's name(s) and Vehicle Mileage are included in the header. This enables users to provide both customers and the Fixed Ops department with a comprehensive view of the charges on the quote.
