Summary of Work in Process (WIP) Part Types

The Parts WIP Part Types Report primary purpose is to provide a summary of Work-In-Progress (WIP) for parts, broken down by part type and manufacturer (MFG). It covers both invoice and repair order (RO) transactions, showing cost and sale values for each category.  

Frequency: Weekly, Monthly or Yearly 

How It’s Used: 

  • Parts Physical Inventory: This is a vital report when performing a Physical Inventory. Using the Parts Cost from the report will allow the values from Accounting and the Parts Department to become more balanced together.

  • Parts Managers 
  • Fixed Ops Directors
