Multi-Factor Authorization
Use the login credentials provided to you by VUE SMS. You will be prompted to reset your password.
It's important to create a secure password. Choose a meaningful password that you will not forget.
A secure password must contain:
- At least 10 characters
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one upper-case letter
Spaces, special characters, and numbers can all be used. Here is an example of a strong secure password:
To move forward, a code will be sent to the mobile device or email from your employee record in VUE. You must have access to the device to continue.
Once your communication method is chosen, click [Continue]
Once your log-in code is sent, the system will prompt you to enter the code you received. Once you have entered the received code, select [Continue]
Select [Yes, remember this device] if it is a trustworthy device that only you will be using.
If you forget your Password
Select the blue Get Help hyperlink, and enter your email.
- You will receive an email from no-reply@dominiondms.com.
- Follow the prompts to reset your password.
Note: To update your cell phone or email address, contact your administrator at the dealership. |
Navigation
Now that you've logged into VUE let's review how to navigate the dashboard.
- On the top left corner of the home screen, you will see the VUE logo.
- No matter where you are in the system, clicking on this logo will take you back to the home. screen.
- On the top right, the name displays the name of the company where you are currently working in. The color corresponds to the company.
- If you are a user who switches between rooftops, this helps to identify which one you are currently in.
User Settings
In the navigation ribbon, your name displays as the logged-in user
Clicking on the drop-down next to your name provides you with a list of features.
Message Center: send and receive messages from your team members
- Click [New] to start a message.
- From the drop-down select whom you want to send the message to.
- Create your message, attach files, and click [Send].
- Receive notifications to alert you whenever new messages arrive.
Manage Account: reset your password.
User Settings: customize your search delay to align with your typing speed and set the number of logs displayed on each page.
Contact Us: access contact details for our support team.

Notification Manager
Our notification manager saves system alerts and prompts for easy access and reference.
- Notifications appear for 5 seconds then move to the bell icon. This icon
is where you can view and respond to active notifications.
- Select [Save & Dismiss] to keep messages in the Active tab, or select [Dismiss] to move them to the Dismissed tab.
- Other actions, like Accepting or Rejecting, move notifications to the Dismissed tab.

Ultimate Search
Navigate to: The search bar at top of your VUE screen
Select and the filter on the left of the search bar will default to All
This will search the entire system for the top results in every category, except accounting.
Refine your Search Results
Click on the All dropdown and select your desired category.
After selecting a category, input the information you wish to search for in the search bar. This action will filter the results to display only those relevant to your chosen category.
Configure your Default Search Category
If you find you often search in the same category, you can easily update the default settings in your User Settings
- Select the drop-down arrow
at the top of your VUE dashboard next to your name.
- Select [User Settings]
- Locate the option titled Quick Search Area
- User the drop-down arrow next to select from a list of available categories.
- Click on your preferred category to designate it as your default setting.
- Click [Save] before exiting the User Settings to ensure your preferences are applied.

Moving Through the Modules
As you work within VUE DMS, you’ll navigate using the icons to the left side of the screen. The icons remain visible as you navigate through the system.
Quickly navigate by clicking the arrow to expand the menu and click through the levels.
Tip: if you visit the same pages over and over each day, you may want to make it a favorite.

Working with Grids
The grey bar across the top of the screen is known as the Action Ribbon. These may look different depending on the screen you are on.

Master Filter
Some grids have a Master Filter option. You will either see an or
default on the top right corner of the grid.
- Selecting the Open or Active drop-down allows you to view the various data sets based on the options selected.
- The number of options in the Master Filter drop-down varies by screen

Search Fields
There are search fields where you can easily search what you are looking for by entering the information in any of the blank fields.
It's not necessary to know the complete customer name, part number, receipt number, stock number, etc., to use the search fields.
In the scenario below, I am looking for a spark plug. Typing a portion of the word triggers the search results to begin displaying:
Narrow your find even further by selecting the drop-down next to the blank field.
Sort by Ascending or Descending by hovering next to any title field in your grid.
