VW / Audi Warranty Claim

From within an existing Repair Order

  1. Click on the WARRANTY tab within the operation and enter the warranty data.
  2. All required fields must be input before the warranty will be submitted to VW. Tab names and Field Labels for required fields are displayed in red.
  3. Entering an invalid Damage Code or a Fail Part number will display a warning icon. Hovering over the field will display a tooltip reading, “Damage code may be invalid” or “Fail Part entered is not found on this operation.”

  4. Submit the warranty now by clicking “Submit” or wait until the RO is closed, at which time the warranty claims will be automatically submitted to VW.


To re-submit the warranty claim, from the RO screen Extended Service tab, click the  [Submit Warranty] button  or open the warranty operation, click on the WARRANTY tab, and click Resubmit.

  1. If the Warranty Claim is successful, you’ll receive a green box that reads, Warranty has been sent.

  2. If it’s unsuccessful, you’ll receive a message stating: An Error has occurred!

  3. Note that successful simply means you transmitted the order to VW. Unsuccessful indicates there was an issue attempting to send the transaction to VW.
