Swapping a Cobuyer / Buyer

Sales > F&I > Deals

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the Deal.

2. Select the Deal by clicking on the corresponding line.

Within the Deal:

3. Click on the customer name hyperlink to open the Prospect record in another tab.

Within the Prospect record:

4. Select the Cobuyers tab in the Action Ribbon.

5. Confirm and Input the Cobuyers information.

6. Select [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

7. Select the [Swap] button at the bottom.

8. Click [Yes] when prompted to "Swap this Cobuyer with the Buyer?".

9. Return to the Deal and refresh the screen.

**Be aware, that when you swap a Buyer and a Cobuyer:

• The cobuyer will assume the buyer's customer number.

• Any vehicle record attached to the buyer will now be listed as "owned" by the cobuyer.

• The original buyer is no longer in the system as a customer or owner of those vehicles.
