Service Sales Summary Report

Track Service Department Performance

The Service Sales Summary Report's primary purpose is to provide a daily and month-to-date overview of service department performance for a specific month. It tracks key metrics related to labor sales, repair orders (ROs), labor hours, costs, profits, and appointment rates across all pay types (Customer, Internal, Warranty, Extended Service) and departments.

This is most helpful to Service Managers for tracking departmental goals and identifying areas for improvement, as well as to Executives for high-level oversight of profitability and operational efficiency.

Frequency: Daily, Weekly and Monthly

  • Performance Monitoring: It enables management and staff to see how the service department is performing on a daily and cumulative basis for the month.
  • Trend Identification: By showing daily and MTD figures, it allows you to spot trends, such as increases in sales, changes in profit margins, or shifts in appointment rates.
  • Operational Decisions: The report supports informed decisions about staffing, scheduling, pricing, and promotions by highlighting areas where performance is strong and where improvements are needed.
  •  Accountability: It provides transparency and accountability for service operations, making it easier to review what happened on specific days and understand the reasons behind them.
