MPI Results & Upsell Report
Manage Service Sales and Opportunities
The MPI Results report enables the Fixed Operations Manager or Service Manager to effectively manage sales within the shop. If a Technician consistently recommends services but the Advisor fails to sell those recommendations, this presents a training opportunity for the Advisor. Technicians who conduct MPIs on every vehicle and make service recommendations may become discouraged if those suggestions are not being sold by the Advisors.
This report provides transparency for everyone involved, allowing missed opportunities to be converted into profits. Additionally, our Sales Team can utilize this report to help close more deals.
Navigate to: Service > Reports > Sales > MPI Results & Upsell
Parameters:- Company: This will default to the company you are logged into.
- Date Type: Select a time frame from the drop-down menu; this will affect the next drop-down.
- Output: How you want to view the report.
- Click the [Run Report] button.

- Pay Types included are limited to Customer Pay and Extended Service Pay Types.

The report uses data points on the MPI side to note Technician Recommendations and updates made by Advisors/Managers.

Only closed, non-voided ROs are reported based on the report range

The report is grouped by Advisor.
Report Results:
- CP ROs (Customer-Pay Repair Orders):
Each advisor’s total number of customer-pay repair orders (ROs) is listed, along with how many line items were on those ROs and how many of them included MPIs. - MPI (Multi-Point Inspections):
This shows how many technical recommendations were made by technicians during the inspections, how many of those were sold to customers, deferred, voided, or updated by advisors. - P&A (Parts & Accessories):
This section tracks upsell opportunities related to parts and accessories that are not originally part of the customer's repair order, but are recommended or offered during the visit - Totals Section:
This sums up all the lines sold by each advisor, the percentage of closed sales, and the revenue generated with the combined MPI gross across all advisors was
- Summary Totals at the Bottom:
Total upsell opportunities generated and the percentage that sold, totaling the additional revenue the department brought in.
