Marking Tax as a Lender Tax

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on  Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Maintenance > Sales > Taxes

Inside the Primary Grid:

  1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the Tax.

  2. Select a Tax by clicking on the corresponding line.

Within the Taxes screen:

    1. Click Customize Settings to enable tax editing (if applicable).
    2. Select the Lender Tax Yes radio button.
      Note that marking a  Lender Tax = Yes will only show up in a deal if the lender in that deal has that tax applied in the lender taxes.
    3. Click [Save]
    4. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

    Note that when Tax is marked as a lender tax:

    • It will no longer pull into ALL deals.

    • It only imports when that lender is placed on a deal, and you say yes to Pulling in the lender defaults

    • Taxes marked as a Lender Tax may be attached to the Lender within the Lender Maintenance screen.  See the Maintenance: Lenders section for further details.
