Making a Tier Tax (Sales)

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on  Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Maintenance > Sales > Taxes

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the Tax.

2. Select a Tax by clicking on the corresponding line.

Within the Taxes screen:

1. Click the Tier dropdown.

2. Select Yes from the dropdown to display the Amount 1, Rate 1, Amount 2, and Rate 2 field.

3. Click the Amount 1 field and input the maximum dollar amount for the first tier.

4. Click the Rate 1 field and input the percentage rate of the first tier.

5. Click the Amount 2 field and input the maximum dollar amount of the second tier.

6. Click the Rate 2 field and input the percentage rate of the first tier.

7. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

• The Amount 1, Amount 2, Rate 1, and Rate 2 fields will display once the Tier dropdown is set to Yes.
