The Inventory Performance Analysis Report is designed to provide a detailed overview of the dealership's parts inventory performance over a specific period. 

Frequency: Weekly and Monthly 

Who uses this report? Parts Managers 

How It’s Used 

  • Monitoring Inventory Health 
    • The report breaks down inventory by source and description (e.g., Ford Parts, Tires, Oils, Recalls). 
    • It tracks key metrics such as sales, cost, total inventory value, and on-hand (OH) quantities. 
    • It highlights positive and negative on-hand balances, dirty core inventory, and aging buckets (0-12 months, 13-24 months, 25+ months). 
  • Identifying Inventory Issues 
    • Shows which inventory categories have excess, obsolete, or slow-moving stock. 
    • Negative OH and dirty core sections help identify items that may need attention or corrective action.
