Inputting the Default Hourly Rate for Technicians

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

Accounting > Maintenance > Employees

· Only Employees with a Position of “Technician” will have the Default Hourly Rate field.

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the employee record.

2. Select the employee by clicking on the corresponding line.

Within the Employee Record:

3. Within the Employee tab, click in the Default Hourly Rate field and input the technician’s default hourly rate.

4. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.
