How do I create a Restocking Fee? (Service)

 An example of how to create a restocking fee for Parts Invoices. 

Service > Maintenance > Fees

· The following is an example of how to create a restocking fee for Parts Invoices. The charge will be 5% of the parts total.

1. Click [New] in the Action Ribbon.

2. Input a code in the New Code field.

∟ R-STOCK

3. Click [Create].

4. Click the Fee Type dropdown and select Charge.

5. Input a description in the Description field.

∟ Restocking Fee

6. Click the Parts Invoice Fee dropdown and select Yes.

7. Click the Fee Type Class dropdown and select Restocking Fee.

8. Click the Based On dropdown and select Parts.

9. Click in the Percentage field and input -5.00.

10. Click the User Override dropdown and select Yes.

11. Input the Account Number and press Enter, or click the magnifying glass to open the Account Number Search window.

12. Within the Account Number Search grid, filter/sort and select the Account Number.

13. Click the Default On Parts Invoice dropdown and select No.
