Deleting a Role

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each user's needs. Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership. Refer to the Roles and Permissions article to learn how, and the Permissions Reference Guide to determine which permissions to assign.

 

How do you delete a role in VUE?

To delete a role in VUE, navigate to Accounting > Maintenance > Roles, select the role, and confirm deletion. Note: this action cannot be reversed.

Steps to delete a role

Navigation: Accounting > Maintenance > Roles

  1. Navigate to Accounting > Maintenance > Roles.
  2. Select a role from the Roles grid.
  3. Click the Delete button in the Action Ribbon.
  4. When the Roles and Permissions prompt appears — “This action cannot be reversed. Do you want to delete this role?” — click the Delete button to confirm.
