Creating a Role

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

See the Permissions Reference Guide to understand what permissions to assign.

Accounting > Maintenance > Roles

Within the Roles Screen:

1. Click the [New] button in the Action Ribbon to open the New Role window.

2. Click on the Inherits From dropdown and select either a pre-existing role or the blank selection.

3. Input the name of the newly created role in the Role Name field.

4. Click the [Create]button.

5. Assign permissions to the created role.
