Creating a Rebate

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on  Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Maintenance > Sales > Rebates

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Click the [New] button in the Action Ribbon.

2. Input the Rebate Code in the field.

3. Click the [Create] button.

4. Click the Description field and input the rebate description.

5. Select a Rebate Type from the dropdown.

6. Select Taxable Yes or No from the dropdown.

7. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

• Any Rebate created needs to match the Accounting Deal Posting Template. For this reason, the Rebates that come pre-loaded within the system are setup so they can be edited within the Deal itself. This gives the user the ability to make adjustments to the Rebate as needed in each unique deal.
