Creating a Journal

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

Accounting > Maintenance > Journal Maintenance

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Click the [New] button in the Action Ribbon to open the Add New Journal window.

2. Input the Journal Number.

3. Input the Journal Description.

4. Click the [Create] button.

Within the Journal Maintenance Screen:

5. Click the Journal Type dropdown and select a journal type.

6. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.
