Create a Sales Desk
There are 3 ways to create a Deal in VUE.
Sales Desks >> Become >> Deals . When the Desk comes to agreed-upon terms with the prospect (or customer), the Sales Manager can turn a Desk into a Deal.
1. Creating a Sales Desk from the Sales Desk
Navigate directly to Sales > F & I > Sales Desk
- Click on the [New +] button in the Action Ribbon.
- Input a name in the Desk Name field.
- Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

Add a Prospect

Click the + in a black circle icon next to the Customer field, and input a Prospect Name to add a new Prospect. Click [Create].

If a prospect was created beforehand, type the prospect's name as LastName, FirstName, or click the magnifying glass to search for the prospect's record. Filter/sort, and select a prospect.

- Add a vehicle
- Click the magnifying glass icon in the Vehicle field. Filter/sort select a vehicle.
- Click the magnifying glass icon in the Vehicle field. Filter/sort select a vehicle.
- Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon again.
- The default deal type is governed by the Scenario default.
- Use the Deal Type dropdown to change to Cash or Lease if desired.
2. Creating a Sales Desk from a Prospect
- Click on the link to Creating a Sales Desk from a Prospect
- Click on the [+] icon to next to Deals to create a New Sales Desk.
- The default deal type is governed by the Scenario default.
- Use the Finance menu to change to Cash or Lease if desired.
3. Creating a Sales Desk from a Customer Record
- Use the Ultimate Search to find an existing Customer Record.
- Click on the [+] icon to next to Deals to create a New Sales Desk.
Or
Navigate to Sales > Miscellaneous > Customers
- Filter/Sort the grid for the Customer Record.
- Click on the row to open the customer's Dashboard.
- Click on the Snapshot tab.
- Click the "+" icon next to Deals.
- Click the [Yes] button to create a new Desk.
- The default deal type is governed by the Scenario default.
- Use the Finance menu to change to Cash or Lease if desired.
4. Converting a Sales Desk to a Deal
Navigate to Sales > F & I > Deals
- Click on the [New +] button in the Action Ribbon to open a new Sales Desk.
- Fill in all needed fields while negotiating the sale.
- Convert the Sales Desk into a Deal by clicking the Make Deal hyperlink.

Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.
The default deal type is governed by the Scenario default.
Use the Finance menu to change to Cash or Lease if desired.
Use the Customer field magnifying glass icon to search for an existing Prospect to tie to the deal.
Use the [Plus+] next to the Customer field to create a new prospect record tied to the deal.
