Copying a Forms Packet
VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs. Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership. See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Maintenance > Sales > Forms
Inside the Forms screen:

Select the Packet to be copied in the Packets group by clicking on the packet to be copied.

Click the [Copy] button in the lower left of the screen.

Click the Packet Name field and input the name of the new packet in the Packet Details window.

Click the My Packet dropdown and select either Yes or No.

Click the Always Show dropdown and select either Yes or No.

Click the [OK] button.

Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.

When My Packet is set to Yes, the system will only allow the user who created the packet to make edits to the packet. When set to No, any user can make edits to the packet within the Maintenance Menu.

When Always Show is set to No, the Condition dropdowns display. (See “Adding Conditions to a Packet” for further details.)
