Complete Sales Tax Report
Itemization of all Sales Deals
The Complete Sales Tax report provides an itemization of all deals in the selected time period and the tax applied. The report's output is determined by the selections made in Report Parameters.
Frequency: Monthly or Quarterly
Who uses it? Accounting staff or Dealership managers who need to prepare tax filings, conduct audits, or verify that the correct tax amounts were applied per jurisdiction.
Details include:
Deal # (as a hyperlink to the desk)Stock # (as a hyperlink to the sold vehicle record)
Deal Date
N/U: New or Used vehicle sold
Deal Type (Finance, Lease, Cash)
Customer Class (Retail, Fleet, Wholesale)
Sale Amount
Tax Amount selected from Report Parameters
Total Taxes applied to the deal
Navigate to: Reports> Tax > Complete Sales Tax
Select Parameters
- From Report Type – Select Detail.
- From Select Tax Status, select Active or Inactive depending on the tax that needs to be detailed.
- Select the Tax that needs to be detailed.
Run Report
- After all Parameters have been selected, click [Run Report]
- Report will populate with Deal and Stock # clickable hyperlinks
