VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

Commission Schedules allow you to define rules for commission payments. Set up default values as per your dealership’s unique requirements.


Permissions

 Permissions for Sales > Maintenance > Sales >Commission Schedule is required.

Create a New Schedule

Navigate to Sales> Maintenance > Sales > Commission Schedules .

In the Commission Schedules screen:

  1. Click on the [New] button in the Action Ribbon.
  2. Add a Description for the new commission schedule.
  3. Click on the [Create] button to open the Commission Schedules screen.
  4. Select a commission Type from the dropdown list.
  5. Click on the [Add] button to open the Add Commission Tier Rate window.
  6. Input a Description of this Tier Rate.

  7. Input Minimum and Maximum count criteria for this Tier.
  8. Click the [Add] button to close the window.
  9. Click on the Tier Rate description to open the Tier Details window.

  10. Click on the [Add] button to open the Add Commission Tier Detail window.
  11. Define the commission. Input the commission Basis, Profit Area, Payment Basis, Percent, Minimum, and/or Commission Percentage.

Apply Commission to a Deal

Navigate to Sales > F&I > Sales Desk or Deals

After you have constructed the Deal:

  1. Click on the [Employees] button in the Action Ribbon.
  2. Select a commissionable employee from the dropdown.
  3. Click on Amount hyperlink to view the employee commission information.

  4. Select the schedule type from preset defaults.

  5. Select the tier.
  6. Click [Save] in the lower right to return to the Sales Desk or Deal.
