Assigning a Bin Location to a Part Number

Parts > Counter > Parts Inventory

A part number may have more than one Bin Location assigned.

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort and select the part number to assign a Bin Location.

Within the Part Record:

2. Click the Bin Locations hyperlink.

3. When the Part Locations window appears click [Add].

4. Input the Bin Location in the Bin Location field.

5. Input the maximum quantity of the part number for that location in the Max Quantity field. (A zero in this field indicates that there is no maximum, and will not restrict the maximum order quantity when generating orders).

6. Mark the checkbox of the Primary location.

7. Click [OK].

8. Click [Save] in the Action Ribbon.
