Adding New Interior/Exterior Colors within the Vehicle Record

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on  Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Vehicles > All Vehicles

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the vehicle.

2. Select the vehicle by clicking on the corresponding line.

Interior Colors

Within the Vehicle record:

1. Click Interior Color dropdown.

2. Select the “Add New” option. The new color code window will open.

3. Input a Color Code. The code can be alphanumeric and up to 4 digits long.

4. Input a Description for the Color being added.

5. Select either “All” or “Interior” in the Type dropdown.

∟ Selecting “All” will share the new color with the Interior colors table. This allows the color to be selected for exterior as well.

∟ Selecting “Interior” will only allow the new color to chosen as an interior color.

6. Select the [Create] button.

Exterior Colors

Within the Vehicle record:

1. Click Exterior Color dropdown.

2. Select the “Add New” option. The new color code window will open.

3. Input a Color Code. The code can be alphanumeric and up to 4 digits long.

4. Input a Description for the Color being added.

5. Select either “All” or “Exterior” in the Type dropdown.

∟ Selecting “All” will share the new color with the Interior colors table. This allows the color to be selected for interior as well.

∟ Selecting “Exterior” will only allow the new color to chosen as an exterior color.

6. Select the [Create] button.
