Adding a Tax Cap (Sales)

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on  Roles and Permission to learn how.

Sales > Maintenance > Sales > Taxes

Inside the Primary Grid:

1. Filter/Sort the primary grid to locate the Tax.

2. Select a Tax by clicking on the corresponding line.

Within the Taxes screen:

1. Click the Tax Cap dropdown.

2. Select Yes from the dropdown to display the Cap Amount field.

3. Click the Cap Amount field and input the tax cap dollar amount.

• Once set, the Cap Amount sets the maximum dollar amount that can be taxed.
