Adding a Bank Account (Bank and Checking Maintenance)

VUE is a permissions-driven system that tailors security access to suit each users needs.  Access to each menu item is managed by an Administrator at your dealership.  See the Help article on Roles and Permission to learn how.

Accounting > Maintenance > Bank and Checking Maintenance

Within the Bank and Checking Maintenance Screen:

1. Select the bank to add a new bank account by clicking on the corresponding line.

2. Click the [Add] button below the Accounts list.

3. Input the bank account’s Name.

4. Input the bank’s Account Number.

5. Input the GL Number.

Click on the magnifying glass to search for a general ledger account number, and click on the corresponding account.

6. Input the First Check and Last Check numbers, if different from the defaults.

7. Make any additional changes and click the [OK] button.

8. Click the [Save] button in the Action Ribbon.
