Transferring Parts from Parts Desk to a Parts Invoice

Creating a Parts Invoice from the Parts Desk

Moving parts from a parts desk to an invoice is remarkably simple. This process is perfect for any Parts Manager or Parts Counter to effortlessly generate a quote or create a kit and convert it into an invoice.

 

Navigate to: Parts > Counter > Parts Desk

Within the Parts Desk screen:

  1. Open the existing desk you want to transfer
  2. Mark the checkbox to the left of the part number to transfer.

    Tip: If no parts have been selected, then all the parts on the desk will transfer
  3. Hover the cursor over the [Parts Invoice] button in the Action Ribbon and make one of the two selections:
    • New Import Transfers the selected parts to a new Parts Invoice 
    • Import to Existing Transfer the selected parts to a previously created Parts Invoice.
